Our Story

Dovex is a family-owned company brought to life by Lea, our lead event planner. The idea first took root during her own wedding journey. While navigating the wedding industry, Lea quickly realized how overwhelming, and often unaffordable, the process could be.

Event planners were charging upwards of $20,000, floral designs came with staggering price tags, and balancing her full-time job as a professor, being a full-time PhD candidate, and planning her own wedding made the process all the more daunting. She understood why so many brides feel heartbroken and end up settling for less than their dream day.

But for Lea, the experience became something more. She embraced the challenges, from negotiations to appointments, and discovered how much she enjoyed the process. What began as a personal journey turned into a passion. Lea fell in love with the world of weddings, not just because she loves love, but because she found joy in creating moments that matter.

Those unforgettable long lasting memories and smiles meant the world. So, before she knew it, she found herself volunteering at friends events, birthdays, and holidays creating balloon arches, helping in perfecting details, creating invitations, and adding her creative touch to make every celebration unforgettable.
